Portugal Masters hands players the last chance for playing privileges next year
The DP World Tour is set for one of its most nail-biting weeks of the season as the $2 million Portugal Masters hands players the last chance to earn points to keep their playing privileges for 2023.
Players on the cusp of the qualifying mark of 117, include Aaron Cockerill (Can), who represents The Els Club, Dubai, and stands at 112, Victor Dubuisson (Fra) at 114, Espen Kofstad (Nor) in 115, Jazz Janwattananond (Tha) in 116, Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez (Esp) in the current final qualifying spot.
Those needing to move up the DP World Rankings to retain their cards for 2023 are:
118: Darius van Driel (Ned)
119: Ricardo Gouveia (Por)
121: Francesco Laporta (Ita)
122: Renato Paratore (Ita)
123: Alfredo Garcia-Heredia (Esp)
On the PGA Tour Dubai based Adrian Meronk (Pol) makes a rare visit to play on the PGA Tour in Bermuda.
Fellow Dubai based players, Anirban Lahiri (Ind) and Adrian Otaegui (Esp) are both participating in this week’s LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami.
12 teams are competing for the largest prizefund in golf, $50 million, in this 54 hole tournament held at Trump National Doral Golf Club, Miami.

Venue: Trump National Doral Golf Club, Miami, Fl, US
Purse: $50 million
