Tiger Woods will partner with his son Charlie at the PNC Championship in Florida
The DP World Tour, co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour hosts its final tournament of 2022 with the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
Dubai based Nicolas Colsaerts (Belgium) and Thomas Bjørn (Denmark) last week’s winner of the Legends Tour MCB Tour Championship in Mauritius are amongst the headline players in the field along with the most recent champion on the DP World Tour, Ockie Strydom (South Africa) who won the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek CC on Sunday.
In the USA the PNC Championship takes place in Orlando, Florida, where 20 Major Champions team up with a member of their family in a fun 36 hole event.
The defending champions are John Daly and his son John Daly ll. While 15 time major champion Tiger Woods will partner his son Charlie who finished in second in 2021.
The format is a scramble format over the two days. Both players hit from the tee, and the team selects the best shot amongst the two. They then both play from that spot and select the best shot from there and this is repeated until the ball is holed.
Others who have committed to play with family members include: Gary Player, Nelly Korda, Annika Sorenstam, Bernhard Langer and Padraig Harrington.
Meanwhile the Asian Development Tour are entering their second week swing in Saudia Arabia for the Aramco Invitational at Rolling Hills Golf Course.
